Pet Crossing
This Facebook- based tile matching video game engages the player to join pairs of like animals, depicted on tiles, as their images come onto the screen. Once a match is made it disappears and makes room for more tiles. There is a catch.
The pairs must have no interpreted space between them, and the line connecting them can make no more than two turns. When there’s no space left for new tiles to come onto the playing field, they’ll queue up on all four sides of the board. If the queues get too full, it’s game over.
Fable 2
If you’re a vegetarian then this is the ultimate animal lover’s Xbox 360 video game. This virtual duel pits good against evil as your tofu-powered characters overpower their meat-eating opponents. Rack up purity points every time you eat plant-based food or watch your character turns into an obese evil villain if it consumes any meat products. It’s enough to make anyone stop eating meat.
SimAnimals Africa
This Wii and Nintendo DS game takes you on an African adventure in which you can tame wild animals, and explore landscapes you’ve never seen before. Gamers can take on the persona of the exotic animals of Africa, and run, jump, kick and charge just like these animals do in real life.
Players are offered challenges and mini-games in which they have the chance to solve them and obtain new items, new animals, and go to higher levels of the game. Animals have hidden abilities the player must discover as they make their way across the jungles, desserts and savannas of Africa. This is a great game that will give you hours of enjoyment.
Nintendogs
This is the most successful Nintendo DS game ever made. A touch screen allows you to get one-on-one with your little pup, and a hand-held microphone enables you to tell him (or her) what to do. There are four different versions that can interact with each other by using a wi-fi connection.
Paradise Pet Salon
This on-line role play game pits the big dogs against the little dogs. When the big corporation, PetCorp, moves into town it’s a race against time to see who can service more pets, and ultimately become the king of the animal care kingdom.
Animal Genius
This Nintendo DS game is a winner of the Parent’s Choice Gold Awards. There are dozens of games within this game that will test your knowledge of animals, and teach you about the ones you’re not familiar with. Choose from an array of habitats including a rainforest, the arctic, ocean or woodlands. You’ll play five different games that involve the indigenous animal of the habitat you select. To win the game you have to unlock enough animals to fill the empty diagram of five habitats.
Animal Crossing
This Nintendo GameCube game allows the player to assume the role of an animal living in a village. Your character animal must increase the size of its house. By completing tasks and challenges your character can obtain furnishings, wallpaper, flooring and other items. The game is played in real-time so it’s important to save the game each time you shut down. (A little Gyriod that lives next door will remind you) If you do forget, a mole named Mr. Resetti will appear in front of your house the next time you play and give you a scolding.

Heartworm treatment for dogs generally takes the form of giving heartworm tablets. These tablets are referred to as preventative but they are also treatment. This is because the tablets are being given to kill heartworm larvae that are already in our dog’s bloodstream. They include dogs, cats, wolves, coyotes, foxes, ferrets, sea lions and even humans. When the infected mosquito bites our pets the mosquito deposits larvae into the skin of our pets. The larvae are from the parasitic roundworm known as dirofilaria immitis. The larvae migrate to the heart and within 6 months they hatch or transform into worms that look like pieces of thread. The heartworms can be found in the chambers of the heart and in the two main arteries leading to the heart (Pulmonary artery and vena cava). From there they move to other parts of the body including the lungs and liver.
SIDE EFFECTS FROM HEARTWORM TREATMENT FOR DOGS
Side effects from use of heartworm preventative medications include diarrhea, convulsions, vomiting and general tiredness or weakness. Your pet’s body recognizes the chemicals in the heartworm pills as poison and uses their immune systems to try and fight off what they see as foreign bodies. Therefore, when on these medications your pets will have weakened immune systems which allow your pet to get sick easier.
ALTERNATIVE PREVENTION FOR HEARTWORM TREATMENT FOR DOGS
Because many veterinarians now recognize that long term use of preventative medications can cause side effects in our pets many people are turning to alternative methods to prevent heartworms. The methods will help overall but you should discuss using them with your vet.
- Provide a healthy diet. Many people are now avoiding commercial pet food and feeding their pets natural vegetables, fruits, and raw meat

- Strengthen your pet’s heart and circulatory system
- In areas where heartworms are prevalent think about regular de-worming

DOG REMEDIES FOR INDIGESTION | HERBAL AND HOME REMEDIES
There are many things that can cause indigestion in our dogs. The good news is there are several dog remedies for indigestion that we can do at home and save a little money in vet bills at the same time. Imagine being able to make your own comfort food for your dog and taking care of the problem yourself. We made our own dog food after our vet told us to do it and not buy the expensive pre-canned dog food he was selling.

- Boil hamburger and drain off the grease

- Golden seal
- Ginger
- Peppermint
- Chamomile
Same thing goes with the teas like the vegetable broth. Give small amounts several times a day to see how well your dog tolerates them.
